Feedback loops are demystified.Testing ideas, product concepts, messaging concepts, what not, everything that needs customers acceptance generally (used to) takes ages to get the feedback from them. Proportionate money, time and effort goes into collecting them.With social media the inputs that goes into getting and maintaining feedback loop is cut down tremendously.If social media are to be credited for one thing, out of many, I'd choose them for this- Making feedback loops demystified.

Where can your marketing go wrong?Literally everywhere.Coz, in addition to the work you put, marketing involves a lot of what happens in the minds of potential consumers and how they perceive your product, message, timing, their state of mind during the point of interaction with your brand and a lot more.This doesn't discount the effort that you need to put but it also needs an understanding of the multiple variables at play.While there's no sure way to crack the puzzle, the only reasonable way to have a way through, probably, is to embrace a mindset of constantly figuring out.Figuring out all the time without taking anything for granted.

Did you try changing someone's mind with logic? How did it go😉?
It squarely fails. Period.Firstly because, humans are NOT rational actors.Lastly, every human mind resists new beliefs and views coz of these three cognitive mechanisms at play.1. Cognitive Dissonance- We try to preserve our existing beliefs before accepting that we are wrong.2. Confirmation Bias- We tend to search and find information that supports what we already believe in and reject or ignore information that conflicts with existing beliefs.3. Social Conformity- We tend to embrace those beliefs, rules and behaviours of the social groups that we belong to.Good luck, if you still think you can win with your logic alone.P.S.: I'm sharing this, not coz I'm a pro at changing minds but, out of my several failed attempts flying with logic alone 🤕.

No Brand became a BRAND without a delivering a 'great product' to a 'sizeable number of people'.With internet and your creativity, you can build a BRAND even to a small set of people, say 3,4,10,.., by delivering great product to them as long as your economics are working out.Earlier, when there was no internet, social media, eCommerce, payment systems, building a BRAND used to cost tons of money and that too with relatively poorer feedback loops.Today, everyone can build a BRAND and build wealth for themself and for the state.P.S: Here product refers to both physical products and services.
